Shortness of breath is a frequent pregnant symptom and is caused by a number of reasons, including the enlarging uterus and changes in the heart's demands. Here are some ways you can get rid of it:

Sitting forward

Sitting and resting might help to relax your body and make breathing easier.

Sit in a chair with your feet level on the floor and your chest slightly forward. Then, rest your elbows on your knees or support your chin with your hands. Remember to keep your neck and shoulder muscles relaxed.

This is a type of "tripod posture," which seeks to make greater room in the chest cavity for the lungs.

It's beneficial if you have Asthma, and you may discover that you do it without even thinking about it. It is not suited for persons who are seriously overweight.

Pursed-lip breathing

This is a simple method for dealing with shortness of breath. It immediately slows your breathing rate, allowing you to take deeper and more productive breaths.

To practice pursed-lip breathing, first of all, relax the muscles in your neck and shoulders.

Then, breathe in slowly via your nose for two counts while keeping your mouth closed. Purse your lips as if about to whistle. To the count of four, exhale slowly and softly through pursed lips.

Sleeping in a relaxed position

Shortness of breath occurs during sleep for those who have sleep apnea. This might result in frequent waking up, reducing the quality and length of your sleep.

Lie on your side with a cushion between your legs and your head lifted by pillows while maintaining your back straight. Alternatively, sleep on your back with your head lifted and your legs bent, a cushion between your knees.

Both of these postures allow your body and airways to relax, making it simpler to breathe.

Eating fresh ginger

Eating raw ginger or combining it with hot water as a drink may help relieve shortness of breath caused by a respiratory illness.

Moreover, ginger may be effective in combating the respiratory syncytial virus, which is a common cause of respiratory infections.

Here are some symptoms you shouldn’t ignore during your pregnancy to be safe and keep your baby safe:

Baby Moving Less Often

If you see an irregular moving or moving less in the behavior of the child inside you that doesn't seem appropriate, you should see your doctor as soon as possible.

When your kid starts kicking and punching inside of you, it's a big relief as well as a sign of joy for you that everything is OK.

Furthermore, the power and frequency of kicks can be used as a non-invasive technique to monitor the baby's health. It's crucial to keep track of his kicks since you'll be able to tell whether they're becoming less frequent or intense.

However, you can be free of this problem with a few simple natural cures that can be done at home:

Paste Made Out of Gram Flour

Besan has been observed to keep the skin fresh and extremely soft. Since it has these inherent properties, using it as a paste allows the skin to be moisturized, and reduces itchiness.

All you need to do is take some gram flour in a bowl, add oil and water to it, and mix it properly to form a nice paste. Also, you can use milk instead of water for extra moisturizing.

Use this paste on the area that is itching and let it dry for some time.

Moreover, you can apply this two times a day on the affected area.

Calamine Lotion

Women suffering from the polymorphic eruption of pregnancy (PEP) get itchy skin and red rashes all over their bodies.

Calamine lotion is the best bet for irritation in the stomach area during pregnancy. It relieves itching and prevents further irritation or inflammation.

All you need to do is apply the lotion and massage it till it covers the entire area at least two times a day.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has the capacity to penetrate the skin and reach dry skin cells. Providing them with the required fatty acids help in the reduction of itching and discomfort.

The oil's antibacterial capabilities also treat any skin infections that may be causing irritation or inflammation.

All you need to do is apply the oil to the affected area up to two times a day.

Cold Compress

Applying an ice pack to the affected regions helped reduce skin irritation and itching.

The cool ice immediately relaxes the region, providing you with comfort.

All you need to do is apply ice packs as and when you need quick relief.

Aloe Vera Gel

The Aloe Vera plant is widely recognized for its health advantages and ability to cure a variety of skin problems.

Its anti-inflammatory effects and moisturizing ingredients provide the skin with the hydration it needs, softening it and relieving any itching.

All you need to do is apply the gel to the affected area and massage it up to two times a day.
