Infinix Zero 8 is another latest model in the Infinix Zero series after Infinix Zero 6. The phone was launched back in August 2020 and is expected to enter the Nepalese market really soon. The phone is a gaming-centric phone with its Helio G90T chipset. Let's get to know about the phone.

 

Infinix Zero 8 Overview

Design and Display

The phone has a 6.85-inches FHD+ IPS LCD display along with a 90Hz refresh rate. Zero 8 is the first Infinix smartphone with a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.

At the front, Infinix Zero 8 has a pill-shaped cutout that houses a dual selfie camera setup. Likewise, at the rear, it has a diamond-shaped camera module. And, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Performance and battery

Infinix Zero 8 runs on XOS 7 based Android 10 and is powered by Helio G90T Soc which is a mid-range chipset used by popular mid-range smartphones like Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme 6. The phone is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storage can be expanded with a microSD card.

Talking about the battery, Infinix Zero 8 has a 4,500mAh battery with 33W SuperCharge Technology.

Camera

Infinix Zero 8 flaunts a Quad-camera setup at the rear arranged in the diamond module. It has a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and 2 cameras with 2MP are allotted for depth sensor. As for the selfie, a dual-camera with a 48MP primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide sensor are arranged in a pill-shaped module at the top left corner of the display.

After the introduction of the Infinix Note 7 previously, Infinix Note 7 Lite has launched in Nepal. It is a lite version of Infinix Note 7. Sadly, the phone has several downfalls and lackings compared to the Infinix Note 7.

Infinix Note 7 Lite Overview

Design and Display

As for the design, the Infinix Note 7 Lite has a basic design, unlike its predecessor. The camera quad-camera setup at the rear is different from its predecessor and is arranged at the left of the phone. At the front, Infinix Note 7 Lite has a 6.6 inches IPS LCD display which unlike its predecessor is not protected by any corning gorilla glass. The screen-to-body ratio is 82.8%. The phone has a punch hole cutout at the top left that houses the single shooter selfie camera. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Performance and Battery

The Infinix Note 7 Lite runs on the Android 10 OS and is powered by the Mediatek Helio P22 chipset. The performance one receives with the chipset at this price is somehow disappointing and cannot compete with the Realme C3 and Redmi 9 which are offered at the same price range. Infinix Note 7 Lite is coupled with 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage.

As for the battery, Infinix Note 7 Lite is packed with a huge 5000 mAh battery. The battery is huge though lacks the fast charging feature like its Note 7; and, one can get an in-box 10W charging charger which probably will charge the phone from 0 to 100% in 3 hours. 

Camera

Infinix Note 7 Lite has a Quad camera setup similar to its Note 7 at the rear. The arrangement of the camera, however, is completely different from the unique style of the Infinix Note 7. Infinix Note 7 Lite has a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth lens, and a QVGA sensor. At the front, Infinix Note 7 Lite has an 8MP AI selfie camera.

Infinix Note 8 and 8i have been launched by the company on October 15, 2020, via virtual event. The phones are successors to Infinix Note 7 and 7i. They both are powered by MediaTek Helio chipset and feature a quad-camera setup at the rear. Let's get to know more specs and features about these phones.

Infinix Note 8

Infinix Note 8 features a 6.95-inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels. It has 480 nits typ brightness and the aspect ratio is 20.5:9. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass.

The camera, however, is slightly less impressive than the Note 8. It also has a Quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, a 2MP depth lens, and an AI sensor. For the selfies, the Infinix Note 8i has an 8MP single shooter at the front housed inside the cutout punch hole. The phone has the same 5,200mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
