Tata Nexon EV Max Launched In India

"Tata Nexon EV Max is the long range version of the electric SUV and gets a host of upgrades including a more powerful motor and more features."

Tata Motors has launched the long-range version of the Nexon EV, called as the Tata Nexon EV Max.

The new model gets an upgraded 40.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of over 437 km.

The new Nexon EV MAX will be available in two trims - XZ+ and XZ+ Lux.

It will be available in 3 colours - Intensi-Teal (exclusive to the Nexon EV Max), Daytona Grey and Pristine White.

The dual-tone colour will be standard.

The model has also seen several upgrades on the feature front including changes to the cabin, centre console as well as more safety.

Visually, the new long-range Tata Nexon EV Max will largely remain identical to the regular model.

The cabin remains largely unchanged but gets an updated centre console featuring a new rotary dial with a display unit.

There's also the new jewel knob with Active Mode display, new Makarana beige interiors, leatherette seats with ventilation for front passengers, air purifier, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM and cruise control.

The Nexon EV Max gets 3 driving modes - Eco, City and Sport and gets eight new features on the upgraded ZConnect 2.0 connected car technology. The ZConnect app offers 48 connected car features.

Nexon EV Max equipped with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Nexon EV Max offers 33 per cent higher battery capacity, delivering an ARAI certified range of 437 km. Whereas the standard Nexon EV offers a range of 312 km on a single charge. 

The Nexon EV Max produces 141 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. The company claims a 0-100 kmph sprint time under 9 seconds.

Tata Motors has also improved the charging time on the Nexon EV Max that will be available with options of a 3.3 kW charger or a 7.2 kW AC fast charger. 

The Nexon EV MAX also supports a faster charging time of 0-80 per cent in just 56 mins from any 50 kW DC fast charger.

The Nexon EV Max is equipped with features like ESP with i-VBAC (intelligent – Vacuum-less Boost & Active Control), Hill Hold, Hill Descent Control, and disc brakes on all wheels, and an electronic parking brake function with auto vehicle hold.

The new variant is priced from INR 17.74 lakh, going up to INR 19.24 lakh (ex-showroom,. Delhi).

Tata Nexon EV Launched In Nepal at a Price of NPR 35.99 Lakh

"Sipradi Trading, the sole authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has officially launched the Tata Nexon EV compact SUV in Nepal at a starting price of Rs 35.99 Lakh."

Sipradi Trading, the sole authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has officially launched the Tata Nexon EV compact SUV in Nepal at a starting price of NPR 35.99 Lakh.

Nexon EV is equipped with a powerful and high-efficiency 127 bhp permanent-magnet AC motor powered by a high capacity 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The motor produces 245 Nm of instant torque from a standstill, enabling Nexon EV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds.

The EV comes with best-in-industry dust and waterproof battery pack which meets IP67 standards.

The Nexon EV promises zippy performance, an ARAI-certified range of 312 km (depend upon driving conditions range fall between 230-250km),  fast charging capability, and class-leading safety features. 

Sipradi Trading has already installed 8 DC Fast Chargers across Nepal. The company also plans to install 15+ DC Fast Chargers within 150 km of all strategic road networks.

Also, the company will come up with 100+ AC charging points and on-demand mobile charging. 

Tata Motors Nepal will also provide free home charging device and installation services for seamless home charging solutions. In addition, the Nexon EV can be charged from any 15 amp plug point.  When plugged into a fast DC Charger, the Nexon EV will recharge 80% battery capacity within 60 minutes. 

The Nexon EV measures 3,994 km in length, 1,811 mm in width, and stands 1,607 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,498 mm. The ground clearance is 205 mm. The boot capacity is at 350 liters.

The Tata Nexon EV complies with the latest full-frontal, side-impact, and offset impact crash regulations. It gets safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD and cornering stability control, ISOFIX anchorage for child seats, and camera-based reverse park assist.

The Nexon EV comes with two drive mode options – Drive & Sport. It utilises tech features like regenerative braking to charge the battery while coasting, Hill Ascent & Descent Assist to make driving on slopes more convenient.

Nexon EV Colours

The Nexon EV will be available in three colours – Glacier White, Moonlit Silver, and Signature Teal Blue. The company will also provide a spare tyre with every purchase.

Nexon EV price in Nepal

The Nexon EV will be available in three variants – XM (Rs 35.99 Lakh), XZ+ (Rs 37.99 Lakh), and XZ+ LUX with Sunroof (Rs 39.99 Lakh)  and will come with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000km (whichever is earlier) on battery and motor.

Tata Tigor EV With ARAI Certified Range Of 306 Km Launched In Nepal

Tata Motors launched Tata Tigor EV at a starting price of NRs 29.99 Lakh in Nepal.

Tigor EV is now also the first EV to be tested by Global NCAP and has received a four-star safety rating.

A seven-inch screen dominates the cabin of Tigor EV while there are around 30 connected car features on offer.

Tigor EV is offered in three trims and two colour options.

Tigor EV's is capable of running 306 km (ARAI certified and under standard conditions) in a single charge. The EV can be charged using a fast charger or even a 15A home socket. If using a fast charger, the battery can be powered to 80% in an hour but it will take around eight hours if using a home socket.

EV gets an IP67 rated 26 kWh lithium-ion battery pack combined with an electric motor. The electric powertrain generates 73.75 hp of power and 170 Nm of torque. The EV comes with Ziptron technology which enhances the performance capability of the vehicle. The new Tigor EV can accelerate to 0-60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. There are also two drive modes - Drive and Sports.

EV gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Corner Stability Control, Hill Ascent Control, Hill Descent Control, among other safety-related highlights. Tigor EV has received a four-star safety rating in Global NCAP crash tests. The new Tigor EV gets a freshly designed face with projector headlights.
