"Stay healthy, stay happy!"

Now, the demand for exercise and fitness trackers is very competitive and can come at a bit of a premium. It's a smart thing to make sure you know just what you want to get out of it, if you want to buy, and if the functionality is stable enough to fulfill those goals. These tips will help ensure you end up purchasing the one that suits you better if you are thinking about making a purchase but are not yet dedicated to any particular device:

Display Quality

A standard exercise band includes a small screen, and it is essential that you can read details displayed on the screen under sunlight because you will mainly use the outdoor unit.

So, make sure you go for a strong showcase for a workout team. When you are exercising, you don't want to stop and look to decipher the details on the phone.

Monitor for Heart Rate

More and more exercise bands with heart rate sensors are arriving. This feature allows you to measure your heart rhythm and pulse, to measure the speed of your workout, to make sure you don't overdo it.

Integration of a Smartphone

While some fitness bands merely screen alerts (calls and texts) from your mobile, some smart fitness bands allow you to respond to text messages or make calls. For eg, some brands (Apple Watch) let you even monitor your music.

GPS

Standard exercise bands will allow you to count and keep a record of the number of everyday steps you take. Purchasing workout bands with the GPS feature, however, helps you to log further. The role will help to chart your paths, detect your speed, and include information such as the daily distance you have traveled. Any workout bands have mobile applications that offer you health and fitness on a regular and monthly basis.

When purchasing a workout band, you can watch out for this feature whether you are a cyclist or a runner.

5 Things to Consider while Buying Gaming Monitor

24th August 2020
"Planning to buy a gaming monitor but having problems with choosing one? We are here to ease your inconvenience."

Most of the people, while setting up a gaming PC, tend to prioritize the hardware and fill their computer case with expensive hardware. Besides the hardware, peripherals like keyboards and mouse are given more emphasis even though the average keyboard and mouse will do for most people. Monitors, on the other hand, are most important yet most bypassed part while setting up a gaming PC. What fun will it be if your display won’t have the specs that won’t augment your expensive hardware?

As the display or monitor shows your actions, moves, enemies and your entire game; it should obviously be considered cautiously while setting up a gaming PC. The things that should be considered while buying a Gaming monitor are:

Resolution

Resolution is the most important aspect to look for while buying a gaming monitor. Higher the resolution- higher the number of pixels, clearer the images and superior will be your gaming experience. The gaming monitors come in 3 resolutions- 1080p, 1440p and 2160p. Considering the hardware and GPU limitations 1440p can be regarded as the most suitable resolution for enhancing your gaming experience with inexpensive hardware. But, if you have advanced hardware and GPU, then you can go for 2160p resolution.

Refresh Rate

Refresh rate, simply, is the number of times the image or frame in your screen is refreshed within 1 second. A monitor with 60 Hz refresh rate will be able to refresh the image on the screen up to 60 times per second. Higher the refresh rate, smoother and less choppy images will be formed. Generally, for gaming purpose, the refresh rate should be at least 75Hz for smoother gameplay.

Response Time

Response time is the speed at which a single pixel on the screen can change its color. Lower the response time, better will be the gaming experience. If response time is higher, it will create ‘motion blur’ effect. For gaming, monitor with response time less than 8ms should be considered.

Panel Type

Basically, there are 3 different types of panels each with their own set of strengths and weaknesses- TN, VA and IPS. TN is the cheapest and offers the lowest response time though its visual quality and viewing angles are relatively not so impressive. VA panels offer best viewing angles and have the superior visual quality to TN panels; however, its response time is higher and is a bit pricey. Amongst all, IPS panels are regarded as best panels but most expensive. They have the best visual effects and contrast but have about 4ms response time which is higher than TN panel. If your budget supports, IPS panels are best for consideration or else, TN panels with their lowest response time will also do.

G-sync or Freesync

NVIDIA’s G-Sync and AMD’s Freesync are the technologies that aim to eliminate the screen tearing (a graphics distortion where multiple frames are displayed in a single screen draw that occurs when graphics processor is out of sync with the display). They help your monitor to refresh at a rate that matches your graphics card. However, you cannot use AMD’s Freesync technology with NVIDIA’s graphics card and NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology with AMD’s graphics card. Both technologies are good and you can choose among these relying upon your budget or the video card of your choice.

Things to consider while buying a TV

21st September 2020
"Buying TV is not a piece of cake, from size to contrast, everything should be thoroughly examined."

Do you want to enrich the look of your living room with a beautiful TV? Or, are you in need of one and don't have proper knowledge about TV and how to choose an appropriate one? If you are looking for basic knowledge or tips to consider while buying a TV, then keep on reading.

The trend of TV has been somehow decreasing due to the advancement of smartphones and the internet for the past decade. However, TV nowadays is as smart as smartphones with a bigger screen and better customer experience. Buying a Television for your home can be stressful with all the budget that one has to pour into it. Here, are few things to consider while buying a TV that'll cool your stress down.

Size

Bigger the size, the fancier the TV, and the better the user experience. However, one must not forget the capacity of the room. Measure the dimensions of the room and thoroughly examine the size of the TV that you require for your room. You might regret buying a 55-inches bigger, fancier TV if you have a small room of just 7-ft height and 8-ft length. So, select the size that is suitable for your room.

Viewing distance

Viewing distance, when put straightforward, is the distance from the TV that must be kept in order to prevent any kind of stress in your eyes. Normally, a distance of 4-ft is a must if you're buying a 32-inches LED TV. And, for TV with 40-48 inches, a viewing distance of at least 7-ft is a must. Likewise, for 55-inch or 65-inch LED TV, a 9-ft viewing distance is needed.

Resolution

For better viewing experience, the resolution should be considered. If you are looking TV for normal usage like for watching news once or twice a day, and are short on budget, then you can go for a 720p resolution. Nevertheless, if you have enough budget and use the TV for gaming, watching movies, Netflix, etc., then don't settle for less than 1080p i.e. FHD. If possible go for UHD, or else go after FHD.

Audio Output

TV must have a good screen with good visuals, but the audio output of the TV should also be checked. Budget TV may have a pleasing display but the audio output may be a disappointment. So, try to get a soundbar speaker to enrich your experience with better sound quality.

Connectivity Options

The more connectivity options better the experience. If you want to use the TV for other purposes like gaming, watching movies, etc., then look out for other connectivity options like HDMI, USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, and other AV ports. Also, the presence of Bluetooth connectivity will be an advantage.

Refresh Rate

Refresh rate means the number of times the picture on the screen gets refreshed within a second. The higher the refresh rate is smoother the video appears. Go for TV with a refresh rate between 60Hz to 120Hz.

Contrast

The contrast ratio describes the range of brightness levels your TV can display. Better the contrast, better the brightness levels. There are different ways of measuring the contrast ratio; so, check thoroughly while looking out for contrast.

Smart TV

Not all 'smart TV' is smart. Some smart TV offer variety of apps and features, whereas some lack in such apps. Better go after the Google-certified or android-certified Smart TV that offers a variety of features including play store, voice assistant, etc.

Things to Consider before buying new Smartphone | Reviews

16th December 2020
"Smartphones should be bought smartly!"

In 2020, the number of mobile devices globally stood at 14.02 billion, with estimates indicating that by 2021 this is expected to increase to 14.91 billion. These devices are no longer solely for making calls or receiving SMS messages; via your smartphone, you will run most elements of your everyday life. As a consequence, understanding which smartphone is the best for you can be very difficult.

Here's a definitive checklist of items, a smartphone buying guide,  to remember before purchasing your next smartphone.

Memory

memory

We recognize that phones have two forms of memory: Read Only Memory (ROM) and Random Access Memory (RAM). The ease of operation and speed of the phone is calculated by RAM along with the CPU. The storage is taken care of by the ROM. To store all your images, pictures, music, OS, applications, and more, it is used. 3 to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM can serve the purpose for a heavy user like me. But for gaming and putting a lot of movies on your phone 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage phones are out there.

Battery

battery

When buying a cell phone, the battery capacity is the most significant factor. Pick a handset that has the widest set of batteries. The battery range of most smartphones is up to 2000mAH. If you select a larger-screen smartphone, it is best to know about the battery range for better mAH. When using our mobile, we usually prefer to overlap several programs. Stronger battery life is a strong suit. Go for a phone with a battery life of at least 3000mAh to last a whole day if you are a light user.

Camera

camera

It can be rightfully said that a cell phone camera is gaining a lot of popularity as a consideration to be taken into account when purchasing a smartphone. High-end smartphones from corporations such as Samsung and Apple have larger lens apertures than less costly smartphones, resulting in a much higher image output. Most phones today have cameras under f/2.0 or lower aperture with a 12 MP or 16 MP sensor. Good results are provided by higher megapixels along with good pixel scale, autofocus, aperture, and ISO levels.

Processor

processor

Along with RAM, the processor defines your phone's speed and ease of use. Therefore it is fair that phones with a faster processor speed are much quicker. Opt for a smoother processor for someone who spends a lot of time watching online videos or playing sports.

The newer the CPU and the faster the clock speed, the heavier the heavy-duty smartphone is. So all other factors are similar, a smartphone with a 3 GHz processor is better than one with a 2.3 GHz processor.

Display

display

The first things you note about a handset are the size and display resolution. Therefore, make sure there is a bright and vivid monitor on the smartphone you purchase so you can use it even outdoors. We would recommend that you opt for full HD displays and go for Quad-HD resolution if your budget allows. Full-HD or QHD resolution is usually sufficient enough for a typical consumer for a monitor ranging from 5.5 inches to 6 inches or more.

Security/Extra Features

extrafeatures

Safety features such as fingerprint sensors, face unlock and iris sensors provide the phones with much-needed protection. Specifically, these functions serve as passwords whether you have private files, records, or programs on your devices.

Build Quality

build-quality

Your smartphone's lifespan significantly relies on its construction efficiency. A mobile with a metal shell is more likely to survive drops of between two and three feet. The survival of a phone with a plastic body is minimal. You may also find glass-coated panels, but if you are susceptible to losing your phone sometimes it is not advisable to use those phones. Although glass-based phones can fracture, phones made from metal and plastic can withstand drops of 2 to 3 feet.
