KFC Nepal - known for offering the ‘World’s Tastiest Chicken’ - has launched its first restaurant in Butwal.

This newest destination for chicken lovers is located nearby Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket & Departmental Store, Butwal.

Walk into the restaurant or order in to indulge in KFC favorites of Hot & Crispy Chicken, Chicken Popcorn, Chicken Strips, Zinger Burger, and more; and get your hands on the iconic KFC Bucket. 

The brand makes a foray into the city not only with its distinct menu offering & products but along with a 5X Safety Promise of Sanitization, Screening, Social Distancing, and Contact Less service.

The restaurant follows intensified sanitization after every 30 minutes including all surface areas like tables, counters, doors, and door handles.

The delivery teams wash & sanitize their hands & bags after every order.

All team members, including delivery riders, are regularly screened and undergo daily temperature checks, wearing masks and gloves at all times.

Following social distancing, there are floor stickers to help customers and delivery riders maintain a safe distance of a minimum of 6 ft. as they queue up for orders. 

The restaurant is spread across 1880 square feet and seats 65 people. Open from 10 am to 10 pm, customers can enjoy their KFC favorites, through various food channels of takeaway and during dine-in as well - all in a safe contactless manner.

Nearby customer can enjoy their chicken meal with the delivery partner Bhojdeals.

Mandira Shrestha has been awarded the title of “Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2020” amidst a Virtual Award Gala organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. Pinterest, an American image sharing and social media service designed to enable saving and discovery of information on the World Wide Web using images and, on a smaller scale, animated GIFs and videos in the form of pinboards, has added a bunch of new features for searches increased on topics related to home improvements, home training routines, baby products, essentials, and gifts.

The platform added new functions to its boards in order to "make it easier to plan and bring the visual inspiration from Pinterest to real life." Among them are

A new section available on saved pins to add private notes that make it easier to return to the pin and remember what we planned to do. For example: "this would look amazing with the carpet in the living room."

Board toolbar

those active boards that contain an average of more than 150 pins will have this option that will make it easier for users to navigate through the pins with a very easy-to-use section at the top of the screen where all the actions that can be performed on aboard.

Dashboard Favorites

 This feature is still in the testing phase. It will allow users to bookmark the most popular pins by tapping the star icon on the board. This will allow a better organization to find ideas.

Pin Grouping

The app wants Enhanced Dashboards to become your personal assistant. The app uses technology to suggest sub-boards that allow you to better organize your boards. For example: imagine you have a food board with tons of recipes that you want to try; It will be much easier for you to try them if you organize them in sub-boards such as “breakfast recipes” and “desserts”.

Dashboard Suggestions

 In addition to automatic grouping, it also offers users a guided experience from the beginning of their projects, when they save the first pin. For example, if you are planning a holiday celebration, it will offer board suggestions and decorating ideas, food and drink recipes, and gift ideas.

There has been a notable increment in boards created in the most popular categories on Pinterest: 44% more in beauty, 95% more in women's fashion, and 36% more in home decoration.

They also noted that this year new boards with titles like "the lifestyle of my dreams" have tripled as users decided what to buy, planned new routines, and thought about how to improve their home during the lockdown.
