Ncell Axiata Limited today announced a reduction on its local call tariffs, enabling prepaid subscribers to make calls on any networks in Nepal at a flat rate of just Rs 1.62 per minute excluding taxes, down from the previous Rs 1.99 per minute. 

The new call charges to prepaid users, applicable and alike all over the country, are the most affordable to make calls under the Pay As You Go rate from the main balance. 

The new call rates have come into effect from Friday (February 11). To start availing of this benefit, Ncell customers just need to dial *17107# and select 1 in the menu.

The new revised tariff simplifies and facilitates customers to make longer on-net and off-net voice calls from the main balance. At Ncell, we strive to offer great value along with a world-class service experience to our customers. 

The new rates will be applicable until August 9, 2022.

Private mobile service provider, Ncell has stopped providing additional facility on balance loan. The company has closed such facility from today by issuing a notice on Friday.

 

Ncell had been providing various facilities under the loan service without any service charge. The company has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the closure of additional facilities under the loan, keeping in view the time of lockdown.

 

Under the loan service, Ncell was offering 250 MB data and 250 SMS for Rs 20, 250 SMS for Rs 10 and 25 SMS for Rs 5, 25 minutes talk time and 25 MB data.

Ncell has introduced Special Wi-Fi SIM under ‘Plus’ umbrella campaign which Ncell claims to be Hassle-free and affordable Wi-Fi solution for home and office. This service is available in all fourth generation (4G)/long term evolution (LTE) service locations across the country.

Under this offer, the customer can get two 4G sims with 40GB bundled data volume, bundled service of data, on-net talk time and digital services in each SIM card every month.

Customers can simply plug in this SIM in their handset or any 4G compatible device for data connectivity or they can use it in handsets, Mi-Fi devices and Wi-Fi routers to take Wi-Fi or hotspots service from other devices. Once the customers insert the SIM in any of 4G compatible devices, the nearest mobile tower of 4G network site will be locked, and the service will be accessible within the area served by that tower site.

Another special feature of this service is- the 24×7 customer service.

The service costs Rs. 430 ( exc. taxes) per month. One has to be the yearly subscriber to use this service. The available packages in the service are:
