Most of us spend a significant amount of time on our smartphones, scrolling through social media, checking WhatsApp, taking pictures, and making video calls. Several factors contribute to your phone's poor battery life.
The following are the things that will drain your phone's battery the most:
Brightness
People frequently set the screen brightness on their smartphones to the highest setting, causing the phone's battery to drain faster.
If you want your phone's battery to last as long as possible, keep it in auto mode or set it to low power. This will prevent the battery from draining too quickly.
Turn Off the Wi-Fi Connection
When you activate your Wi-Fi connection, your phone begins searching for a hotspot.
While connecting to the nearest Wi-Fi signal can be beneficial in terms of saving money on your data plan, it can also be a significant drain on your battery.
Turn off Wi-Fi and only connect to it when necessary.
Turn on Airplane Mode
Switching to airplane mode isn't just for when you're flying in the friendly skies—also it's a great way to save battery life in a pinch.
The downside is that you won't be able to make or receive phone calls, text messages, or connect to the internet, but it can be useful to save your battery power for when you really need it.
Airplane mode is also useful when you're in an area with no service as it prevents your phone from draining itself while searching for a signal.
Avoid overcharging
Avoid charging your phone frequently; many people charge their phones even when they have 40 to 50 percent battery life left, which is not a good practice.
Charge the phone only when the battery is 30% charged, and never charges it completely; instead, charge it up to 90% of the way, which extends the battery life.
Many Tabs on Browser
We frequently open multiple tabs in our smartphone's browser and forget to close them.
The open tabs in the background increase the battery load in this case, and the battery begins to drain faster.
If you want to save battery life, turn off these tabs after you've finished using them.
