All the riders want their bike to be new and shiny throughout the time but is it really possible?
We tend to make so many silly mistakes that we end up with so many scratched on our bike which after a certain time degrades the look of your bike.
Here are some tips to prevent your motorcycle from scratches:
Parking
Whenever you are to park your bike in a tight parking lot, make sure you always park it on its main (center) stand and not on its side stand.
This is because, when you park with the side stand, your bike is easily prone to be touched by the neighboring bike when the person takes his/her bike out thereby getting scratched.
Service
Might sound odd, but it is true. Your motorcycle gets scratches while you leave for servicing as careless handling and lack of space result in getting your bike scratched.
Moreover, you need to be aware of this and tell the mechanic to handle your bike carefully.
Clean your bike regularly
You should make a habit of wiping your bike on regular basis.
Make sure to wipe it immediately when you find come bird-droppings, dust, and mud. This may lead to scratches if not wiped off.
Be careful in traffic signals
We all riders have a habit of pushing our bikes through every single gap. It is a really bad habit one must avoid.
Do not try to push yourself into every single gap because it is where most scratches happen.
Use soft cloth
Avoid using clothes with hard material as it causes scratches to your bike. Moreover, do not wipe your bikes with clothes other than soft ones. These days, you get a separate soft cloth to wipe bikes.
