Benefits of Getting Enough Rest to Your Beauty

5th December 2021
"Quality of sleep is necessary to look refreshed at all times."

Quality of sleep is necessary to look refreshed at all times. Moreover, the importance of a good night’s sleep is one of the main contributors to your health, including your skin health and your hair health. In simple words, sleep contributes a lot to the beauty of the person.

In this article we will be talking about the benefits of proper sleep to your beauty:

1. Fewer Wrinkles

The skin makes new collagen when you sleep, which prevents sagging. More collagen means the skin is plumper and less likely to wrinkle. So getting enough sleep means keeping wrinkles away from your skin.

Fewer wrinkle

Moreover, the skin repairs itself overnight and produces collagen to keep the face looking fuller. This natural process is one of the main benefits of sleep for the skin as part of preventative care. Say bye to wrinkles with enough sleep!

2. Reduce Puffy Eyes

When you sleep for 8 to 9 hours a day you will surely get rid of eye puffiness. The main reason for dark circles and eye puffiness is lack of sleep.

reduce puffy eyes

Often, a lack of sleep leads to bloodshot or puffy eyes due to poor circulation. When the area retains fluid, it causes your face to appear slightly swollen. So, proper sleep reduces your eye puffiness and dark circles.

3. A naturally glowing skin

Your body boosts blood flow to the skin while you snooze, which means you wake to a healthy glow. A night of proper good sleep makes your skin glow naturally.

Glowing skin

Why use products if sleep can do it all? One of the main benefits of proper sleep is that you get natural glowing and clear skin free from dryness, wrinkles, acne, and puffiness.

4. Healthier and Shiny Hair

Hair loss, breakage, damage, and even growth are all affected by lack of sleep. The benefit of enough os sleep is healthy hair as well. Sounds unfair?

The reality is a person who sleeps well is healthy than a person who lacks sleep. Proper sleep gives you healthy, linger, and shiny hair. Yes, enough sleep=Healthy hair as well.

healthy hair

Moreover, when we sleep there is a proper circulation of blood, and hair follicles (where hair growth begins) gain nutrients, vitamins, and minerals from blood flow.

5. Happier and Healthier Appearance

It is obvious when you’re tired, your facial expressions change in subtle and consistent ways. We tend to furrow and frown more. Red, swollen eyes, dark circles, sagging eyelids, and paler skin is the signal of the lack of sleep you give through your face.

Fresh look

Proper sleep helps you look happy glowing and healthier. Moreover, remember people who don't get enough rest are also seen as less healthy than when they’re rested.

Sweet almond oil to remove lipstick

A long-lasting lipstick is bliss for a long working day, but the simple idea of removing it hassles us.

Take this simple tip for getting rid of it by simply drizzling some sweet almond oil over a cotton ball and dabbing it over your lips.

Super cheap when compared to those expensive makeup removers, this tip is a win-win for sure.

Vaseline for better eyebrow shaping
Eyebrows can sometimes behave awkwardly.

You can take your unruly eyebrows by just applying some Vaseline over them and then using your eyebrow brush for further shaping. And you are done!

Coconut hair massage before washing
Hair is one of the most appealing and at the same time experimented with parts of a woman’s body. Curls, straightening, and hair color, our hair handles it all.

With all that damage we cause them, nourishment of your hair becomes of paramount importance.

A gentle massage with some coconut oil ten minutes prior to shampooing can add wonders to your hair. Make your hair enviable and lustrous with this simple effort.

Conduct patch test for hair color
Hair color contains a chemical substance that can cause allergies to some.

For preventing yourself from that unnecessary reaction, it's advised to conduct a patch test.

Apply a patch of color behind your ear and leave it for 24 hours to check if your skin is allergic to that product. After all, prevention is better than cure.

Cleanse with cold water

Having flawless skin is something every girl aspires for. For achieving that, hydrating your body from the inside out is indispensable.

How Sleep Effects your Skin?

3rd December 2021
"Do you know during eight hours of sleep our bodies go through three distinct stages that contribute to the overall well-being of our body including skin?"

Do you know during eight hours of sleep our bodies go through three distinct stages that contribute to the overall well-being of our body including skin?

Skin is the largest organ of the human body so sleep is vital for healthy skin. In this article we will be talking about the effects of lack of sleep on your skin:

Dry Skin

Lack of sleep causes skin irritation and skin dryness! It’s the body’s way of rebalancing hydration levels by producing extra perspiration on the skin while we’re sleeping.

Dry skin

Remember, sleep is a natural moisturizer that helps smooth out wrinkles. Moreover, lack of sleep lowers your PH levels, which causes dry skin.

Dark Circles under the Eyes

Our blood vessels dilate from lack of sleep which causes dark circles and puffiness below the eyes. Also, in some cases, dark circles are caused by an iron deficiency, typically a sign that not enough oxygen is flowing in the bloodstream to the body tissues. This is often due to sleeplessness.

Puffy eyes

Moreover, when we sleep, the blood flow increases throughout our bodies, aiding skin rejuvenation.

Aging

Not enough sleep means more stress!  When you don’t get enough sleep, stress begins to increase in your body. Chronic stress damages collagen in your skin. Collagen is a vital protein made of amino acids.

Aging

It gives structure and elasticity to the skin. As collagen breaks down, your skin is no longer as firm and smooth which results in aging at a very young age.

Dull Skin

If you are tired from lack of sleep, it causes your blood circulation to work less efficiently.

Dull skin

Moreover, the result is lower oxygen in the blood, and that can make your skin appear dull, pigmented, and grayish. Remember, inadequate sleep raises your cortisol levels which triggers inflammation that breaks down the proteins that keep your skin smooth and glowing resulting in dull skin.
