Tips to Keep Your Bathroom/Toilet Germ-Free

27th January 2022
"The threat of germs and bacterial growth is all the more reason to clean your bathroom/toilet on a regular basis."

The threat of germs and bacterial growth is all the more reason to clean your bathroom/toilet on a regular basis.

Here are some suggestions to maintain your bathroom germ-free.

Flush with the lid down

Did you know that when you flush an open tank, germs splatters all around it? On a typical day, this might not be a major deal, but it's a different story when you're flushing vomit or diarrhea.

As an added precaution, always close the lid of the toilet while flushing to keep it germs-free.

Use disposable gloves

Always choose disposable gloves so that you can dispose of them once you’re done cleaning.

Even if you used a germ-fighting disinfectant to wash ordinary gloves, there’s still a risk they'd be infected.

Disinfect everything

Even if you close the toilet lid every time you flush, you should disinfect every surface in your bathroom that a sick person may have touched.

This isn't rocket science to you, but pay special attention to toilet flushers, the immediate area around the toilet, faucets, door handles, and any other surface you don't normally clean, as these are likely contaminated with bacteria.

A mix of hydrogen peroxide

Keep in mind that toilet cleaners are not the same as bathroom cleaners. Toilet cleansers can help you get rid of bacteria.

Vinegar is an efficient germ-killer in the toilet. A solution of hydrogen peroxide and water works well. In addition, even a minor break in the basin might spread illness, so fix it as soon as you notice it.

Take out the trash

Empty containers and packaging that should have been disposed of gather in cupboards due to overflowing bathroom wastebaskets.

Your bathroom will be cleaner if you dispose of rubbish on a regular basis. Furthermore, an overflowing wastebasket is an unappealing sight.

Taking out the trash is made easier with a bin liner in the wastebasket.

CORONAVIRUS: Sanitize your phone, even worse than a toilet seat | Reviews Nepal

12th March 2020
"The University of Arizona, in a study, has found that cell phones have 10 times more bacteria than toilet seats."

The coronavirus (Covid-19) has been declared a disaster by the World Health Organization. Several measures are being suggested to protect the coronavirus from spreading. In this case, you must clean your smartphone so that it can be prevented from spreading. The University of Arizona, in a study, has found that cell phones have 10 times more bacteria than toilet seats.

Samsung is giving free sanitization service of Galaxy smartphones in 19 countries. Under this, customers can get them sanitized by taking wearables including smartphones of the centre. In a study, it has also been found that more than 17 thousand bacteria genes have been found in the phones of high school students.

Generally, you touch your smartphone multiple times throughout the day. Even those who live with you touch it and in such a situation there is a risk of coronavirus spread. It is also believed that people do not clean the phone and because of this, there are as many germs in the phone as the toilet seat.

Since you clean the hand with an alcohol-based sanitizer, can you clean the iPhone with alcoholic sanitizer?

Apple has said on its official website that with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol Wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipe, you can wipe the outer surface of your iPhone with light hands. Do not use bleach. No hole should have a moisturizer.

According to Apple, you can clean your iPhone with lens cloth/microfiber. Before this, you have to switch off the phone and unplug all types of cables. There should be no liquid in the hole of the phone.

Apart from the iPhone, other smartphones can also be cleaned in this manner. There is a coating on the screen of the phone, due to which, despite touching your finger, it does not come with a voice. If you repeatedly clean with an alcohol-based cleaning product, then this coating can be removed.

If your smartphone is completely water-resistant, that is, the phone has an IP67 or IP68 rating, then you can clean it with soap water. You can clean it with soap by soaking a clean cloth in warm water. Despite being water-resistant, you cannot wash your phone completely with water like hands.

If you use a cover on the phone, then you can clean it with Isopropyl Alcohol or soap-water. Here also depends on which material your phone case belongs to.

If you clean your smartphone with a chemical, spray, bleach or direct water, then your phone may be damaged. While cleaning the phone, do not forget to switch off and disconnect the accessories.

Home Remedies to Ease Cough |Covid|

26th January 2022
"Coughing is quite natural."

Coughing is quite natural. A cough can help keep phlegm and other irritants out of your throat.

Sustained coughing, on the other hand, can be a sign of a number of medical issues, including Covid.

Here are a few home remedies to ease cough:

Honey tea

Honey has long been used to treat sore throats. It can also ease coughs more efficiently than OTC cough suppressants such as dextromethorphan (DM).

You may make your own home cure by combining up to 2 tablespoons of honey with herbal tea or warm water and lemon.

The honey relaxes, while the lemon juice helps with congestion. You may either consume the 2 tablespoons of honey by themselves or make a spread-over toast for a snack.

Peppermint

The healing properties of peppermint leaves are widely recognized. Menthol, which is found in peppermint, can help calm the throat and make breathing appear easier.

Drinking peppermint tea or breathing peppermint odors from a steam treatment can help.

To produce a steam treatment, add 7 or 8 drops of peppermint essential oil to a cup of freshly boiled water. Take deep breaths straight over the water while wearing a towel over your head.

Ginger

Ginger is a well-known traditional medicine. Ginger is commonly used to treat nausea and stomach upset, but it may also relieve coughing because it relaxes the airway muscles.

This might help with asthma symptoms such as coughing.

Ginger also contains anti-inflammatory chemicals that could help to relieve throat pain and swelling.

Ginger tea is the finest choice if you have a cough. The heated drink helps relieve throat discomfort, dryness, and mucous.

Slice a 1-inch section of fresh ginger root to create ginger tea. 1 cup water, boiled for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how strong you want the tea.

Salt Water Gargle

While it may appear to be a simple cure, a salt and water gargle might help ease a sore throat that promotes coughing. Irritation can be relieved by combining 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt with 8 ounces of warm water.

Because children under the age of six are not very good at gargling, it is better to explore other therapies for this age range.
