Get Rid Of Mold in Home Naturally

31st January 2022
"Mold could grow anywhere in your home where there is a wet, moist environment."

Mold could grow anywhere in your home where there is a wet, moist environment. Mold thrives in high-humidity environments such as basements, showers, and locations near heating and cooling equipment.

Mold and mildew are normal consequences of a humid atmosphere, but that doesn't mean you want to live with the germs in your home.

Mold may be killed naturally at home without harming your family, pets, or the environment.

Vinegar

When sprayed straight up from a container over the affected area, vinegar works best as a mold killer. Allow for a few hours of drying time before scrubbing the mold with a brush. If the vinegar smell bothers you, add a few drops of essential oil, but know that the strong scent will be gone when you return from activities or work.

White vinegar has been demonstrated to kill 82 percent of mold spores, as well as viruses and bacteria, in studies. Vinegar can also be used to prevent mold growth if sprayed on surfaces and allowed to dry.

Tea Tree Oil Solution

Tea tree oil is more expensive than some other eco-friendly remedies, but two teaspoons of tea tree oil combined with two cups of water can last a long time.

Do not rinse the solution after spraying it on the mold spores. Tea tree oil has a strong odor that will fade in a few days.

Baking soda

Baking soda can be used in a variety of ways around the house. It may be used to get rid of odors in the fridge, relieve heartburn, and fight mold.

Simply fill a spray bottle with 14 tablespoons of water and spray away! After that, scrape each surface with a scrub brush to remove the baking soda residue and mold.

Lemons

Lemons are a common household item that breaks down mold and cleans surfaces. Juice a couple of lemons and pour the juice over the affected areas to apply this procedure.

Allow the juice to settle for five minutes before wiping down the surfaces with a moist cloth.

Household materials to clean your Two-wheeler

26th November 2021
"Keeping your bike clean is difficult work especially on the roads like Kathmandu, Nepal."

Keeping your bike clean is difficult work especially on the roads like Kathmandu, Nepal. There are different cleaning materials found in the market but do you know you can also clean your motorcycle and scooter with the products found in your home itself?

Here are a few ways to keep your two-wheeler shining with common household products:

Rust removal:

Chrome is gorgeous, but it is constantly in danger of rusting. There are few home remedies that can help prevent rusting. Gentle acidic household products like vinegar, lemon juice and cola can do a great job of removing light rust from chrome.

Chrome

Tip: Just use a soft cloth to apply to a clean surface, and rinse thoroughly when you’re done cleaning. For heavier cleaning, try mixing equal parts salt and lemon juice. It is a gentle enough ingredient to clean without scratching the surface.

Remember, frequent light cleanings are best for chrome.

Leather care:

Lanolin is one of the common ingredients in many commercial leather cleaners and preservatives, but there are different alternatives as well.

Tip: The best natural leather cleaner is a simple mixture of 1/2 cup of lemon juice with 1/2 tsp of baking soda. Mix the two together into a paste, and rub them into the leather. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then condition your leather.

Lemon

If you want a natural leather conditioner, you can use a mixture of distilled white vinegar, olive oil, and essential oils. Spray on a light coat, buff it into the leather, and keep your seat clean.

Paint care:

Painted surfaces on your bike are tough but need good cleaning and protection to retain their color and the main mistake we do is use household soaps (like dishwashing liquid) which is not a good choice at all.  The best thing you can use is water. Just water.

Water

Tip: A great trick to improve the cleaning power of water — fill your clean bucker with clean water, and set it out in the sun for a while before you use it. Warm water is a more effective solvent than cold water so the cleaning will be faster.

Wax: Always buy a good quality protective wax and use it. You can find recipes online that include vinegar, linseed oil, carnauba wax, and beeswax, but using a commercial product will be easier, cheaper, faster, and more effective.

Cleaning tips for keeping COVID-19 out of your house

25th January 2022
"Coronavirus or COVID-19 is one of the most-heard and talked about topics around the world."

Coronavirus or COVID-19 is one of the most-heard and talked about topics around the world. While this outbreak has instilled fear amongst the people, it has taken over the world and made people more conscious of cleanliness and personal hygiene.

Because coronavirus is not a common virus, you must take advanced precautions to keep your family safe inside your home:

Disinfect Frequently Touched Surfaces:

Common surfaces are frequently touched surfaces that harbor the majority of germs and viruses.

As a result, it is critical to clean and sanitize common surfaces to prevent transmission.

To remove germs from high-touch surfaces, use vinegar, bleach, or a commercial disinfectant.

The market is flooded with a variety of cleaner-disinfectants that clean surfaces while killing germs on them in common areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, drawing room, and other rooms.

Keep Yourself Clean:

Maintaining personal hygiene is the first line of defense against Coronavirus.

As a result, it is advised that you wash your hands as frequently as possible for at least 20 seconds. Soap and water should be used for washing.

Bathe at least once a day and use a sanitizer as needed. When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or a tissue.

Dispose of used tissues as soon as possible.

Don’t forget electronics:

Your phone may be an infected surface that is hidden in plain sight.

Phones frequently accompany us throughout the day, potentially picking up germs along the way.

Clean the surfaces of your phone regularly with an alcohol wipe or warm soap and water.

Also, remember to disinfect shared electronics in the home regularly, such as computer keyboards and mouse, landline phones, and remote controls, especially if a sick person has been using them.

Manage Waste Smartly:

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, waste should be minimized and managed smartly.

Consider using organic waste from the kitchen as a fertilizer for plants.

Always separate dry and wet waste and keep the waste bin covered at all times.

Frequently Wash Bed Sheets, Towels, etc:

Many households do not wash bed sheets, towels, or reusable kitchen napkins regularly.

Keeping the COVID-19 situation in mind, refrain from doing so for longer times.

Consider replacing the bedsheet every few days (changing sheets every day is the best case scenario).

In addition, wash towels after each use and reusable kitchen napkins after each use.
