Nokia 7.2 had a security patch in January, but Nokia Mobile now issued an upgrade to Android Build. The V2.400 upgrade is 55.35 MB wide, and the changelog does not show what problems are being resolved or what device enhancements and UI improvements it offers.

 

The upgrade is available for our Nokia 7.2, but in separate countries across the globe, people mention having it.

Nokia 4.2 received a new update as well, but that phone got a security patch in January. The update is 15.66 MB and seems to be globally available.

The January security patch, which is 42.34 MB wide, was also received by Nokia 7 Plus.

This is really admirable, but We don't understand why Nokia 3.4 and probably 5.4 are still on the security patch in November. Do search your phones anyway to make them clean and up-to-date and keep your fingers crossed to soon receive Android 11.

HOW TO FIX SLOW INTERNET CONNECTION?

Nokia and Singapore-based operator StarHub are conducting South East Asia’s first live 5G non-standalone (NSA) network trial across Singapore, running until 16 February 2021. With StarHub as the first and early adopter of 5G services in Singapore, long-standing partners StarHub and Nokia have achieved another milestone.

By leveraging existing 4G infrastructure, the trial 5G network will allow StarHub to provide higher data bandwidth and reliable connectivity to its subscribers without a major infrastructure overhaul. The network utilizes Nokia’s end-to-end core and radio solutions, enabling the efficient use of spectrum to deliver 5G services.

The 5G NSA network will enable StarHub customers to enjoy early benefits of 5G, with enhanced coverage and performance to improve the user experience at major residential and commercial hubs of Singapore. StarHub will progressively expand the 5G NSA network coverage and expects it to reach 70 percent by September 2020.  

This follows StarHub’s recent announcement that it has chosen Nokia as a preferred 5G technology partner for deploying mmWave solution and 5G Standalone (SA) Core network.

Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 have been launched in India as the latest smartphones by HMD Global. The new phones have been introduced by the Finnish company after over eight months of the last Nokia smartphone launch in the country that was the Nokia 2.3.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Nokia 5.3 runs on Android 10 with a stock experience and features a 6.55-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. The Nokia 5.3 comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor that has an f/1.8 lens, along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle 118-degree lens.

The Nokia 5.3 comes in a single 64GB storage option in India that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB) through a dedicated slot. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Nokia 2.4, the successor to Nokia 2.3, has been officially launched in Nepal. Nokia 2.4 is the first smartphone in the series to feature a dual-camera that can capture the details even in the dark with night mode.

Design and Display

Nokia 2.4 has some upgrades in design and features compared to its predecessor. Nokia 2.4 has a bigger display of 6.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a better resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels than its predecessor. The aspect ratio is 20:9. At this price the viewing experience one gets with Nokia 2.4 is quite appreciable.
The size of itself is bigger than its predecessor. However, the design at the front remains the same with a waterdrop notch at the top center that houses the selfie camera. The camera setup is also similar; but, Nokia 2.4 has a fingerprint scanner at the rear below the camera setup. And the 3D nano-textured with a stunning finish in nordic colors stays securely in your hands.

Nokia claims the Nokia 2.4 to be an Android 11 ready smartphone. The phone runs on Android 10 and is also Android 11 compatible. Nokia 2.4 is powered by Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 and is available in 2 variants i.e. 2GB/32GB storage and 3GB/64GB storage.

Nokia 2.4 is packed with an AI-assisted Adaptive Battery of 4500mAh that as per Nokia can last up to two days on a single charge. The AI-assisted Adaptive Battery prioritizes the power for apps that you use the most to enhance your experience.

Nokia 2.4 is the first phone in the series that has a dual-camera setup. The phone has a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Nokia has included a few advanced options like portrait mode and night mode.
