Tips to take care of sensitive skin this winter

Winters can be harsh on people with sensitive skin. Low humidity levels and cold weather produce dry air, robbing your skin of all moisture.
This, however, can be controlled and dealt with if immediate action is taken:
Wash your face with lukewarm water
Hot showers in cold weather may be beneficial to sore muscles, but nothing can be worse for your skin.
Hot water causes your skin to become dry and flaky. The consequences are even more severe for sensitive facial skin.
You can't take cold water baths anymore, but you can save your facial skin by washing it with lukewarm water.
This way, you won't feel cold and natural oils won't slough off your face as easily.
Moisturizing Is the Key
One of the most important steps toward glowing skin is moisturizing.
Moisturizing keeps your skin hydrated and prevents the skin from losing the natural oil that the body produces.
Natural moisturizers such as coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, buttermilk, cucumbers, and so on should be used.
These natural moisturizers will not only keep your skin hydrated but will also give it a natural glow.
Keep it natural
We have always stressed the importance of using natural ingredients as much as possible.
Using chemical-laden products may worsen your skin in the long run.
So, whenever possible, choose kitchen ingredients that will nourish your skin from the inside out.
Replenish your skin at night
If you want to have healthy skin, remember to replenish it at night when you sleep for about 7-8 hours.
Indulge in deep moisturizing with oils before going to bed to wake up with beautifully supple skin.
Cleansing is important
Cleansers, in general, tend to dry out your skin, so choose wisely before using them.
After cleansing, do not leave your skin naked for more than 30 seconds, as this can dehydrate it and cause it to become dry.
Apply a toner and moisturizer as soon as you finish cleansing to seal in the moisture.
Make natural exfoliation
Natural exfoliation should be a regular part of winter skincare.
Exfoliating once a week will remove the dullness and flaking caused by dead skin cells.
Use your kitchen ingredients to not only replenish your skin but also to allow it to produce newer cells, which will give your face a glow.
